Craghoppers has combined existing technologies – NosiLife technology for insect repellency and odour control – with the new SolarShield+, using a lighter material to develop a collection ideally suited for intense outdoor activities.
The innovation also lies in the newly developed yarn. Thanks to its unique cross-sectional design, it increases the fabric’s surface area and thus reflects UV rays more efficiently. Compared to conventional yarn, the protective effect increases by 66%. In combination with a special titanium dioxide compound, the reflection and scattering of UV rays are further enhanced.
